creates spirited "alla prima" paintings stirred from elements of daily
life. Color and pattern inspire the lyrical sensibilities of her
paintbrush. "My works begin as drawings with my paintbrush. Composition,
color and intuition influence my subjects. Organic shapes and hues from
daily life offer a jumping off point for the very act of drawing,
painting, and composing color. A fluent process of color into color, wet
paint into wet paint, takes over and continues until I find harmonious
resolution of form, pattern, and color. |
